Our client is looking for an experienced safety professional to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety excellence within a high risk environment.

**About the Role**
As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and guidance to ensure the implementation of effective health, safety, and environmental practices. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with operational teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily activities.
- Conducting regular on-site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing guidance and support to employees and management on HSE-related matters.
- Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommending preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
- Serving as a trusted business partner by building strong relationships with stakeholders and understanding their challenges.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Proven experience in a HSE Advisor role in a heavy industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to empathize and understand the challenges faced by individuals both personally and professionally.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Formal qualifications within Health & Safety and/or Environment and a current driver's license is a must.
