Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support socially isolated seniors in their daily lives. As an Activities Facilitator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of clients through person-centered support and care.

About You

The successful applicant will be required to transport and attend activities with clients, providing support and assistance to enable them to participate in group-based activities and outings of their choice.

Duties

  • Fundamentally, your role involves facilitating activities in accordance with the Leisure & Lifestyle Program.
  • You will provide holistic support and assistance to clients to participate in group-based activities and outings of their preference.
  • Our team members are committed to delivering support and assistance to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans to achieve their desired goals.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for transporting clients using our 12-seater vehicle (driver's license only required).

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is essential for this role.
  • You must hold a valid driver's license.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check is also necessary for this position.
  • We require our applicants to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' prior to commencing employment.
  • All applicants for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
