
Lead Animal Services Manager

An exciting position exists for an experienced professional to lead and motivate our teams.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage staff, resources, and facilities efficiently and effectively. They will drive best practice in animal welfare and regulatory enforcement, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications and a minimum of seven years experience suitable to the role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff in a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic plans to meet organisational objectives
- High level of customer service skills, including an ability to deal with difficult customers
- Demonstrated negotiation/conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills relating to sensitive and complex matters
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to provide technical and policy advice to persons of all levels and negotiate conflict to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
Desirable Requirements- Experience in preparing briefs of evidence and attending Court as a witness
- Previous experience in a Local Government role
