Animal Welfare Leader
">We are seeking a seasoned and passionate professional to oversee our animal rehoming centre and ranger teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a deep commitment to animal welfare.
">The successful candidate will drive best practices in animal care and regulatory enforcement, foster a positive work environment, and develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organisational goals.
">Key Requirements:
">- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and at least 7 years' experience suitable for the role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff in a multi-disciplinary team
- High level of customer service skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Desirable Requirements:
">- Experience in statutory interpretation and policy development
- Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, workplace health and safety, and ethical practice principles
