Job Title

A dedicated support worker is required to assist participants in their daily lives, promoting independence and confidence.

  • Providing one-to-one or two-to-one support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
  • Conducting manual handling tasks in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings.
About You

We are seeking a passionate and experienced support worker who:

  • Has excellent people skills and experience in mental health care.
  • Is committed to supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities, intellectual disability, and/or mental health needs.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has a strong understanding of the NDIS and its requirements.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to participants in their daily lives.
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation.
  • Light cleaning and other domestic duties.
  • Transporting participants as needed.
Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current Working with Children Check and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Have a current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Hold a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Be willing to work shift work, including days, weekends, nights, and active/inactive overnights across a 24/7 roster.
