Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to NDIS providers across Australia.We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to support adult NDIS participants in SILs located in Little Mountain, Banya, Currimundi, Golden Beach & Maroochydore.Female Support Workers are preferred for this role due to female clients' requests with personal hygiene needs.Overview Of The RoleThis is a casual role that offers a combination of emergency/on-call and pre-planned shifts.24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts – morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm) and sleep over shifts.Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals.Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.What you need:Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities.Australian Driver's LicenseFirst Aid CertificateCPRNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employmentNational Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleReliable smart phone with dataWhat we can offer you:Competitive pay rates, terms and conditions.Paid training before you start and ongoing training & development.Weekday, weekend shift loadings and overtime penalties per the industry award paid.Casual position with genuine opportunities to increase hours each weekCompany tablet to complete notes, access client care plans and sign in an out of your shift.Easy to use rostering app, where you can view and accept shifts.Refer & Earn Incentive - $150 for each successful person you refer (conditions apply)Supportive rostering team which is contactable 24/7.Employee Assistance program to support you throughout your employment.After you apply for this role, you will receive a SMS/text message from our Recruitment Team to complete our online screening questions which will help us process your application quicker.
