We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Hostel Carer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

The role involves providing support and care to individuals with intellectual, mental health, and physical disabilities. You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting clients living in our supported accommodation, and be part of a close-knit team that values teamwork and collaboration.

This is a casual position, with a rotating roster that includes weekend work and sleepovers. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $40.26 per hour, reflecting the importance we place on rewarding our staff for their hard work and dedication.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent personal skills, a caring nature, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. Key qualifications include:

  • A Current First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate issued within the last 12 months or willing to obtain
  • Yellow card or NDIS workers screening

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individuals with intellectual, mental health, and physical disabilities
  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities
  • Preparing food and assisting with domestic tasks as required
  • Completing relevant documentation and reporting as needed
