Senior Public Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Health Specialist to contribute to the improvement of Australia's healthcare system.

This is an opportunity for the ideal candidate to leverage their experience in risk and issues management, assurance, governance, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication to deliver exceptional results through strong leadership and collaboration.

The role offers a chance to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact on public health initiatives.

Positions are non-ongoing, offered on a specified term basis for up to 12 months with potential extensions up to two years.

  1. Risk and Issues Management:
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact public health programs.
Assurance and Governance:
  • Provide assurance and guidance on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and other organizations.
Effective Communication:
  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote public health initiatives.
