Job Title:

Facilities Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to lead our team at the aquatic and fitness centre. The successful candidate will have a passion for health, fitness, and community wellbeing, and will be able to combine strong leadership with hands-on, dynamic, and rewarding work.

  • Manage a team across aquatics, fitness, and customer service
  • Drive engagement and ensure member satisfaction
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations in line with workplace health and safety standards
  • Build and develop a high-performing team that shares our community values
  • Engage with stakeholders, members, and community groups to build strong partnerships
  • Oversee maintenance, equipment, retail, and reporting to keep the centre thriving

Requirements

  • Experience in gym operations and group fitness delivery
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Pool Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to train)
  • Working With Children Check (NSW) and a Class C Driver's Licence
  • Previous experience in aquatic and/or fitness centre supervision
  • Bonus points for qualifications in Business, WHS, Training, or Technical Operations
