Job Description

We are looking for a team-oriented and flexible individual who is eager to learn and assist Field Service Engineers with troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing Explosive Detection Systems (EDS) and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment at customer sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Field Service Engineers in meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction
  • Assist with repairs, maintain equipment in the field, and assist with equipment installation
  • Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work, and submit paperwork in a timely fashion
  • Order, install, and return parts, and manage repair parts cycle time
  • Assist Field Service Engineers with ensuring tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
  • Assess product/equipment performance based on field support data
  • Participate in site surveys, pilot program service activities, attend meetings, and assist in preparing reports
  • Maintain professional communication proficiency, both oral and written
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with Field Service Engineers to continuously learn and support customer needs
  • Exercise every available measure to control and minimize costs
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Perform tasks independently once assessed as competent and safe to do so

We are seeking an individual with good communication skills, a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork, and a willingness to travel at short notice. Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable individuals with a clean driver's license and ability to acquire relevant security clearance and industry-related licenses are encouraged to apply.
