Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and delegate field service and workshop jobs.
  • Allocate manpower for field service and workshop jobs, updating the field service planning board.
  • Coordinate and provide logistics support for all field service and workshop jobs, liaising with customers, account managers, field service and workshop managers, and network companies/product companies.
  • Organize sub-contractors as required.
  • Ensure that field service and workshop personnel are briefed prior to the execution of jobs.
  • Ensure that jobs are coordinated and executed to full customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that tools and other company assets are returned after job completion.
  • Ensure that all job-related expenses are captured and booked into the job.
  • Monitor costs on the job and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure that job-related correspondence is maintained in the respective job pockets.
  • Review field service and workshop service reports prior to approval.
  • Review completed field service and workshop jobs for invoicing.
  • Assist the field service operations/workshop manager as required.
  • Ensure that field service and workshop processes are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Demonstrate commitment to OH&S, environmental, and quality systems and actively participate in Wärtsilä initiatives.
  • Be a team player, supporting colleagues and superiors, sharing information, and contributing to a friendly work atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years' work experience in a field service admin/coordinator role in a multicultural environment.
  • Good presentation, communication, and team working skills.
  • Motivation to learn new things and high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, including flexibility.
  • Reporting and analyzing skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing processes in general and related tools.
  • Workplace ICT equipment and applications (M-Files, CRM, SAP/WEP experience, and MS office tools).
  • Ability to work autonomously but be a proactive team player, comfortable brainstorming, creating, and delivering information and material to both small and large groups of internal stakeholders.
  • Positive and helpful attitude.
  • Good command of English.
