Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Ore Sorter Specialist

TOMRA is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, testing, operating, repairing, and maintaining TOMRA ore sorters at our customers' mine sites across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning and testing of ore sorters
  • Repair and maintenance of equipment
  • Providing on-call technical phone support and field response to equipment and customer issues
  • Training of customer maintenance and service personnel
  • Delivering effective field service work in terms of costs and timing

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to relate to customers and their views and issues
  • Motivated individual with a passion for engineering
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle work demand

Education:

  • Engineering qualification with a strong inclination towards hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Electrical qualification or trade would be highly advantageous
