Executive Assistant Opportunity

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Regional Marketing Director, Asia Pacific & Japan. This role will be based in Amazon Australia's corporate offices in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the Director's time is focused on strategic priorities and business-critical initiatives.
  • Complex Calendar & Travel Management: Efficiently manage the Director's schedule, including coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • Strategic Administrative Support: Prepare agendas, manage follow-ups, and assist with key presentations and projects.
  • Project & Event Management: Collaborate on marketing events, team initiatives, and ad-hoc projects that contribute to the broader goals of the marketing team.
  • Key Liaison: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on high-priority marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience Supporting Senior Executives: Proven track record of supporting C-suite or senior executives in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on marketing or a similar creative industry.
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex schedules, travel bookings, and high-volume communications.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with care and maintain the highest level of discretion.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable navigating new tools and platforms to streamline workflows.

  • Experience in a marketing, communications, or creative industry support role.
