Job Title: Project Coordinator Role Overview

This role is a great opportunity for someone to develop their project management skills and take on new challenges in the energy storage industry.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with the development and implementation of energy storage projects. The successful candidate will have experience with project execution processes and be able to effectively coordinate project management and procurement processes, track client obligations, manage customer interfaces, and handle non-conformances and contract modifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and visual), excellent organizational and time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project). Experience with scheduling in MS Project (P6 is an asset) is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the procurement and project management teams with coordination of project-related activities.
2. Help develop project plans and communications documents.
3. Proactively assist with schedule development and milestone tracking.
4. Support the procurement manager with vendor commitments and relationships.
5. Effectively communicate project status updates.
6. Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals, and other documentation.
7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Support subcontractor operations and manage the subcontractor schedule.
9. Identify and manage critical paths to task completion.
10. Problem-solve unique situations as they arise.
11. Participate in developing and maintaining business management tools for project execution.
12. Identify process improvement areas and assist with process revisions.
13. Support the procurement manager in developing proposals and contract exhibits.
14. Monitor project documentation status and compliance.
15. Review and verify project documents for completeness and adherence to contract requirements.
16. Submit project proposals for management approval and transmit approved documents to the customer.
17. Promote excellent customer service.
18. Understand and promote Canadian Solar products.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Procurement Manager.
20. Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
2. Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and visual).
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
6. Experience with scheduling in MS Project (P6 is an asset).
7. Attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally.
9. Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity.
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
11. Professional appearance and conduct.
12. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.
13. Valid Driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle.
14. Some travel to project sites may be required.
