The Opportunity:

Sales Specialists & Consultants drive pursuit in assigned focus areas, collaborating with Account Managers and providing specialist expertise within the sales team. They develop proactive campaigns to build the pipeline, utilize specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. Named accounts may be allocated, covering designated geographies or allocated to high-potential attack accounts.

You are great at:

  • Developing long-term sales pipelines to increase market share in specialized areas.
  • Utilizing specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities to build the pipeline and drive pursuit in specialty areas.
  • Selling complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis.
  • Maintaining professional, working, and consultative relationships with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts by developing a core understanding of unique business needs within their industry.
  • Contributing to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promote total solution capabilities.
  • Maintaining broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.

What it takes:

  • University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
  • Directly related previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer and higher level customer interface.
  • Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse sets of selling responsibilities.
  • Viewed as an expert in the given field by both the company and customers.
  • Considered a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy.
  • Typically 3+ years of related sales experience.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
