Job Profile

A Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist is a customer-facing role that maps product capabilities to the requirements of prospects to support the selling of solutions and services with a specialization in digital sales techniques. As a domain expert and spokesperson for designated solution or product segments, they are responsible for integrating SAP knowledge with modern digital sales methodologies, ensuring effective communication of product value and facilitating tailored solutions proposals for clients.

Please note that the nature of this role requires the successful candidate to be physically located in Sydney, and we will only consider applications from this location.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

These are some of the responsibilities you will have:

Deal Support

  • The Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist is instrumental in crafting and delivering sales presentations on SAP and partner software solutions, tailored for discerning audiences, including top-tier company executives.
  • They will collaborate with VAT teams to deeply understand our customers' perspectives and adeptly intertwine their challenges with our state-of-the-art solutions to form a captivating narrative.
  • They will curate and maintain a sophisticated asset library, optimizing for volume and efficiency in our no-touch/low-touch transaction methods.
  • As a seasoned specialist, they will spearhead in-depth discovery sessions with potential clients, laying the foundation for robust, lasting relationships.
  • They will exhibit an expert ability in devising customer roadmaps, ushering them from their existing IT landscapes to innovative Cloud realms.
  • They will contribute to enhancing RFx completions, ensuring our proposals exude expertise.
  • They will employ tools like the SAP Virtual Studio and OBS technology, ensuring their remote presentations are as impactful as in-person.
  • They will oversee smooth transitions and be the maestro behind the powerful narratives for high-profile events and presentations.

Demand Generation

  • A Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in demand generation, leading webinars and aligning with Marketing and DG priorities to ensure we're always a step ahead in our outreach.
  • They will advise in APM - TPM, positioning themselves as an oracle in SAP's solutions/LoB portfolio.
  • They will collaborate with DG and marketing teams to craft content that underscores our unique selling propositions and addresses the core challenges of our target market.

Digital Content for Customer-Facing Situations

  • They will master SAP offerings to curate and innovate digital content for customer-facing situations, aligning content with advanced solution insights and market trends.

Sales Enablement

  • With their advanced knowledge, the Digital Solution Advisor Senior Specialist will lead training sessions, imparting nuanced understanding and actionable insights.
  • They will ensure the sales team can translate product functionalities into tangible benefits for clients.

Experience and Language Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Candidate will bring a distinguished combination of digital proficiency, technical acumen, and seasoned customer engagement expertise.
  • A solid foundation of > 5 years in (digital) presales, technology consulting, or a comparable customer-facing role is essential.
  • Conversational English required.
