We're looking for an Assistant Category Buyer to join our womenswear team.
About the Role:- You will drive company-wide strategies and objectives.
- Assist in category procurement and inventory management.
- Work with your Category Buyer and Senior Category Buyer to monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Evaluate vendor performance and assist in the selection and deactivation process.
- Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for contracts with vendors.
- Identify vendor supply chain challenges through regular quality assurance reviews.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve issues or discrepancies with orders, invoices, or deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and industry regulations.
- Manage vendor admin to ensure accuracy.
- Analyse data, interpret trends, and propose informed decisions based on data.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and work collaboratively to achieve mutual goals.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Vendor Management, Operations, and Finance.
