Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team.

  • This role is responsible for coordinating a team of Drivers/Technicians to deliver medical equipment, gases and other goods and services directly to our clients and patients.
  • The Operations Coordinator will be the first point of escalation for calls to assist patients in case of breakdown outside of standard business hours.

The Operations Coordinator's key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of Drivers/Technicians runs
  • Delivering medical gases to doctors, dentists and residential aged care facilities
  • Delivering medical equipment, medical gas cylinders and other medical supplies
  • Setting up and maintaining medical equipment while educating patients on its usage
  • Contributing towards safe work and driving practices
  • Ordering and maintaining stock levels
  • Providing after-hours support
  • Supporting the team with relevant and ongoing training of staff and contractors
  • Driving operational efficiencies and improving runs and service delivery
  • Ensuring asset compliance by scheduling and performing corrective maintenance on assets
  • Vehicles audits and preventative maintenance

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Motivation to create positive change in transport/logistics Driver/Customer operations
  • A reasonable fitness level: ability to operate vehicles safely and safely lift and transport equipment weighing between 4 to 25kg (a trolley will be available)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccination certificate
  • Knowledge of Elizabeth and surrounding areas
  • A strong focus on team safety and compliance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience/exposure to logistics, freight, scheduling or coordination
