The Role

Our architecture practice is seeking a passionate Pursuits Specialist to drive high-quality bids and submissions, supporting HDR's commitment to design excellence and innovation.

This role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that encourages innovation and celebrates delivery excellence.

As Pursuits Specialist, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end EOI, RFP, and tender submissions.
  • Understand new tender documentation and requirements.
  • Coordinate with local and global teams to craft visually engaging submissions using InDesign.
  • Organize strategy meetings, follow-ups, and input collection to meet deadlines.
  • Write, edit, and tailor content to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Maintain CRM databases and marketing collateral to support pursuits.
  • Ensure quality control over proposal appearance and content.
  • Populate response schedules, spreadsheets, and project outlines with key data.
  • Develop response sections from bullet points and provided information.
  • Participate in go/no-go decision processes.
  • Keep marketing and pursuit materials current, including content libraries, project sheets, and CVs.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a track record of completing projects independently.
  • Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign.
