Workforce Australia for Individuals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Youth and Community Safety Division. As the Youth and Community Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, development, and management of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the safety and wellbeing of young people and the community
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of programs and services, including Brown Street Youth Service, Child and Youth Outreach Service, Night & Youth Patrol, and Looking After the Kids Service
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure the effective delivery of services and programs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated and holistic services for young people
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing youth and community safety programs and services
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve safety and wellbeing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
