Lead Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment Team

The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to lead the Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment service in Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the operations of the Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with suspected neurodevelopmental vulnerability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service outcomes, including the development of policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers, to ensure the delivery of comprehensive services to children and young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, carers, and community members, to ensure the delivery of culturally sensitive and responsive services.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related health discipline.
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or a related professional association.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management and supervision, with a focus on child and youth services.
- Experience in providing clinical case management support to vulnerable families, with a focus on child-centered, family-focused, and trauma-informed practice.
- Knowledge of child development, neurodevelopmental disorders, including FASD, ASD, and Global Development Disorders.
