Senior Occupational Therapist for Stroke Rehabilitation

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to rehabilitation clients located in the Stroke Unit.
- This role is responsible for the provision of occupational therapy services, including assessment and intervention for stroke rehabilitation patients and management of complex cases.
- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Rehabilitation Leadership team to achieve the outcome of the unit and provide oversight of the Occupational Therapy services.
- Key responsibilities include auditing and evaluating occupational therapy services, implementing change accordingly, and working with the Unit Management Team to improve services and ensure quality patient care outcomes.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in supervisory or leadership roles, high-level communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for the organisation and supervision of clinical Occupational Therapy services to a designated area as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Experience in supervisory or leadership role.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict negotiation and ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders.
