Occupational Therapist

SA Health is seeking dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapists to join the Mental Health Services team. The team is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to empower clients on their journey to recovery and independence. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals with mental health conditions regain their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assess their unique needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions that focus on enhancing daily living skills, coping strategies, and overall mental well-being. The team is looking for Occupational Therapists at AHP1 and AHP2 level to join their casual team, with opportunities to be considered for temporary or ongoing vacancies as they arise. The successful candidate will have experience working with people who have a mental illness, their families, and/or carers. They will also have clinical experience in direct service provision to clients experiencing mental illness and their carers. The Occupational Therapist will be able to provide occupational therapy assessments, work within a rehabilitation framework, and develop and implement occupational therapy interventions for consumers within the team and area. The successful candidate will be able to provide evidence of their qualifications and experience, and will be registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
