Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Lead Accounting Specialist - Financial Reporting with our fast-paced and dynamic team. As a key member of our Reporting and Accounting Policy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting that builds trust with investors and enables effective decision-making.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to lead our financial reporting efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct and document technical assessments on accounting matters across various IFRS and US GAAP topics. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as FP&A, procurement, tax, and legal to provide accounting guidance on material contracts, business initiatives, and new transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  3. Support the creation and maintenance of accounting policy processes, tools, and materials that efficiently handle accounting issues and queries raised by teams
  4. Assist in the preparation of external reports and participate in decision-making related to financial and non-financial disclosures
  5. Stay current with changes in accounting standards and industry practices and contribute to shaping the future of the team's processes

About You

We're looking for someone with a demonstrated expertise and passion for accounting standards, and experience applying accounting principles under multiple reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP). You should have a Business, Finance, or Accounting degree, and a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
