Land Access Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Land Access Officer to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Land Access Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with landholders and stakeholders impacted by infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with landholders to provide project overviews and confirm engagement preferences
- Understand landholder connections with their land and the broader community
- Explain project impacts on properties and determine practical mitigation measures
- Convey landowner insights and queries to the project team and provide timely responses
- Organise and attend property investigations to ensure access conditions are observed
- Provide regular progress updates to landholders and opportunities for participation in project activities
- Explain land acquisition and compensation processes and manage land acquisition negotiations
Requirements:
- Experience in land access and acquisition for infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel regularly and stay away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time
