Production Operator Job Description

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The production operator will be responsible for assisting with the general warehouse duties, including lifting and transporting metal sheets from the production line, setting up and operating of machines, ensuring machines have adequate materials available for the shift, and quality checking finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lifting and transporting metal sheets from the production line
  • General labouring as required
  • Setting up and operating of machines
  • Ensuring machines have adequate materials available for the shift
  • Quality checks on finished products
  • Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines
  • Fixing issues that might occur during the shift
  • Maintaining activity logs and following production processes
Requirements:
  • General labouring experience is ideal
  • Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Switched on attitude and a quick learner
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
