Technical Yard Hand Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Yard Hand to join our team at our Ingleburn branch. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of a dynamic organization.

This role involves maintaining LPG & Industrial cylinders, refilling gas cylinders, loading and unloading transport vehicles (forklift operation), picking orders, general yard duties and delivering cylinders to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain LPG & Industrial cylinders in good working order
  • Refill gas cylinders with high-quality gases
  • Load and unload transport vehicles safely and efficiently using forklifts
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and on time
  • Perform general yard duties as required
  • Deliver cylinders to customers in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Valid MR or HR licence (an advantage)
  • Forklift licence (a must)
  • Reasonable level of fitness to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Demerit Points Statement (required)
  • National Police Check with regular renewals
  • Pre-employment medical examination
