About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, repairing things with their hands, and is keen to have a career in the heavy plant and equipment industry.

About You

  • A successful school history (yr 12 leaver).
  • Solid mathematics, science and English skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in heavy machinery.
  • Great communication skills.
  • A basic understanding of safety in the workplace.
  • A positive, can do, conscientious, and eager to learn attitude.
  • The ability to take direction and show initiative.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • A strong work ethic which means you will be reliable, punctual and honest and committed to completing your qualification.

Applicants must be willing to commit to undertaking an traineeship including participation in both practical training and completion of theory based study components from Registered Training Organisation.
