About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Associate to join our team at William Buck. As a key member of our advisory team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to develop and implement comprehensive financial planning strategies for clients.
  • Attend client meetings and provide expert advice on financial planning and wealth management.
  • Conduct financial modeling and analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and present advice documents to clients, including Statements of Advice (SOA) and Retirement Outcomes Statements (ROA).
  • Liaise with fund managers and third-party providers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a paraplanning or similar position within a professional services environment or boutique practice.
  • A strong understanding of the financial planning process and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in preparing SOA and ROA documents.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, such as XPlan.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workflow, and manage multiple projects.
