About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Adviser to join our team at IOOF Holdings Limited. As a Senior Associate Adviser, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial advice to our clients and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the advice needs of our existing clients and support the growth of our business through new clients.
  • Set a standard for other staff in maintaining a high professional standard for all advice, client service, and personal integrity.
  • Take a lead role in maintaining the values of our organization.
  • Deliver minimum Service Standards, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and that client issues are addressed within an approved timeframe.
  • Ensure backup support for other Senior Associate Advisers while they are away from the office.
  • Mentor and train support staff as a senior peer and responsible for allocating workload.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an Associate Adviser or Paraplanner role.
  • Solid understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments, and social security.
  • Sound experience in XPLAN financial planning software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and judgement in problem solving solutions.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing people.
  • New business skills and existing client referral networks.
  • Accountable for targets aligned with key business drivers.
  • Real drive/passion to become a Private Wealth Adviser.
  • Tertiary qualification in Financial Planning, Business.
  • DFP qualified.
  • FASEA Qualified or working towards this.
