Reservations Manager

This role is a key component of our team, working closely with clients to facilitate booking reservations across our nationwide network of stayover villages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the management of accommodation reservations, including room allocations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing all client inquiries and providing solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to proactively resolve issues, minimizing disputes and ensuring seamless experiences.
  • Conduct village night audits to maintain high standards.
  • Analyze and compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to inform business decisions.
  • Establish clear communication channels between clients and our organization, ensuring effective collaboration with service providers.
  • Provide administrative support to the Reservations Manager.
  • Participate in our continuous improvement program, identifying opportunities for growth and contributing to positive change.

Requirements:

  • A certificate or diploma in administration or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or administration within the hospitality, hotel, or mining/resource industries.
  • Previous reservations or booking experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet reporting deadlines.
  • A strong drive to succeed and achieve goals.
  • A commitment to rapid follow-up on client requests.
  • A dedication to maintaining customer service standards and building positive relationships with clients.
  • A self-driven approach to work from home two days a week.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions.
