About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced producer to join our team in Sydney.

The Role:

As a producer, you will be responsible for developing and creating high-standard segments for The Morning Show while utilising your creativity and original approach. You will work closely with the executive producer to pitch, develop and create entertaining and informative segments for The Morning Show and across Seven's Morning Television Department.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitching and developing engaging segment ideas for The Morning Show
  • Generating story ideas and identifying high-quality exclusive guests
  • Responding to the news cycle, including generating same-day content
  • Ensuring all production elements are of a high standard through to broadcast

About You:

You are an experienced producer with a passion for storytelling and exceptional interpersonal skills. You possess flexibility, a keen eye for detail and creativity that allows you to work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders. Your self-motivation and innovative approach ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a producing role, in a radio or television newsroom
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to respond to breaking news
  • Contribution of innovative ideas and a passion for entertaining and engaging television content
  • A solid understanding of media law and ethics
