About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Banking Specialist to join our Wholesale Banking team in Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive business growth, develop strategic relationships, and make a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a key point of contact for clients, fostering deep understanding of their requirements and strategies to maximise relationships.
  2. Manage a portfolio of clients and grow wallet share.
  3. Identify, originate, and execute new-to-bank transactions efficiently.
  4. Enhance ING's market presence through effective internal and external networks and communications.
  5. Ensure sound and prudent banking practices in accordance with statutory, regulatory, and Group governance requirements.
  6. Provide support for ad-hoc projects and other activities within the broader ING Australia WB business as needed.
Requirements
  • Circa 7+ years of corporate banking experience (or other relevant field).
  • Experience in structuring, credit & deal execution in corporate/investment banking.
  • Exposure and knowledge of Agri sector valued.
  • Strong financial analysis capability and good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of legal documentation.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • High level of self-motivation and professionalism with ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in international banking valued.
  • Suitable tertiary qualification preferred.
