Overview of Quarry Operating Role:

This is a key position within the company, responsible for operating various types of mobile and fixed plant equipment in quarries across South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate haul trucks, front-end loaders, excavators, and other quarry mobile equipment to ensure efficient excavation and material handling processes.
  • Monitor and maintain crushing plants to optimize production output and quality.
  • Work extended hours (typically 10-12 hours) as required by project demands.
  • Participate in workplace safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolboxes, and incident reporting to promote a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift License
  • Loader sales or production experience
  • Crusher experience (both fixed and mobile), with knowledge of maintenance procedures
  • Scraper experience
