National Strategic Quarry Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee tactical planning and oversight of quarry and mine operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term quarry reserve planning to meet future and current production targets.
  • Oversee reporting on geological assessments and work with consultants to identify areas for extraction.
  • Design and implement quarry layouts and resource extraction plans.
  • Coordinate with the Environmental and Compliance team to ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.
  • Prepare, coordinate and submit required approvals, reports, permits, and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  • Work effectively with site and state managers to plan and align upcoming project approvals with preferred timing and budget constraints.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years in quarry or mining operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of quarry reserves planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance in the mining and quarry sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-site operations and leading teams across multiple locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of quarry and mining planning legislation and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong strategic project management and planning knowledge.
