Job Description

The role of Strategic Portfolio Manager involves overseeing the planning and execution of quarry operations. This position requires a dynamic leader who can coordinate efforts across multiple sites to achieve strategic goals.

The manager will be responsible for developing and implementing short-term and long-term quarry reserve plans to meet production targets. This includes reporting on geological assessments, designing quarry layouts, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing quarry reserves to optimize resource extraction and minimize environmental impact.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in quarry or mining operations, with at least 5 years in a management role. A strong understanding of quarry reserves planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance is essential.
