The role of Mine Engineer involves the development and implementation of mine plans and drill and blast designs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop short-term mine plans that utilize resources efficiently and identify risk clearly.
- Drive the development, implementation or improvement of technical systems.
- Conduct reconciliation of daily performance to ensure alignment to plan.
- Communicate updates and target achievement to direct manager.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Mine Engineer.
- Relevant academic qualification in Mine Engineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of mine planning cycles and activities.
- Practical skills and knowledge in drill and blast design, pit optimization and infrastructure design.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external contractors.
Work on an 8/6 days FIFO roster from Perth.
