About the Role:

The position of Senior Corporate Accountant has become available within our client's Multinational ASX-listed Logistics Services Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to support the Group Financial Controller and CFO in managing all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end accounting processes and financial reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly profit and loss analysis, providing insights and presentations.
  • Maintain lease and financial data, preparing necessary schedules and journals.
  • Lead finance and reporting projects, ensuring timely achievement of objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of half-year and year-end financial reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors throughout review and audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with banking covenants and manage BAS & PAYG submissions.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and support system upgrades.

Requirements:

  • CPA or CA qualification with a degree in commerce, business, or accounting.
  • Strong financial reporting and technical accounting expertise, particularly in consolidating large entities.
  • Proven Big 4 audit experience or ASX-listed reporting background.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in driving change and improving financial reporting and controls to support business growth.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP advantageous

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
