Defence Systems Planner

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Planner to join our team at Raytheon Technologies.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on a program directly contributing to keeping Australia safe, utilising your planning skills in a variety of applications.
You will liaise with engineering, supply chain, production and maintenance teams to plan the workload across multiple disciplines with competing priorities to ensure continued delivery of capability for Army.
The key responsibilities include:
- Engineering workload scheduling.
- Work order creation for production and repairs.
- Checking inventory and purchase orders against Bills of Materials.
- Reporting progress status of work against plan.
- Ensuring work records are properly documented.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a technical and/or engineering environment.
- Able to interpret intent and guidance, critically analyse requirements which may be partially defined, and develop a plan incorporating inputs from various stakeholders.
- Strong skills with MS Excel and MS Project.
- Exposure to materials management and work order management tools and processes (specific experience with MS Dynamics 365 or EAGLE are highly desirable, but not essential).
- Strong task organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- General understanding of configuration management principles.
We offer a competitive salary package of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
Additionally, we offer career development opportunities and the chance to work with a diverse and talented team based at locations in Mawson Lakes with some travel to Woodside.
