The Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) is an integral part of our System Program Office (SPO), responsible for delivering through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment, and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while minimising risk.

We are seeking an experienced Combat Systems Engineer to join our CLCM team based out of Garden Island, Sydney. The successful candidate will support the CLCM's 'Special Projects Team' in delivering engineering services, focusing on Combat and Communications Systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification in a recognised Engineering-related discipline. A minimum of 7 years' related experience is required, along with eligibility for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems and registration as Chartered Engineering. Membership of a recognised professional body is also essential.

The successful engineer will provide mentorship to fellow engineers, guidance to stakeholders, and technical expertise in Combat and Communications Systems. They will execute risk-based technical advice on sustainment activities and hold an Engineering Delegation Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO).

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in our organisation.
