Raytheon Technologies is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Defence Systems Sustainer.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with engineering, supply chain, production, and maintenance teams to plan workloads across multiple disciplines with competing priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engineering workload scheduling
  • Work order creation for production and repairs
  • Checking inventory and purchase orders against Bills of Materials
  • Reporting progress status of work against plan
  • Ensuring work records are properly documented

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in MS Excel and MS Project and gain exposure to materials management and work order management tools and processes.

With a strong understanding of configuration management principles and excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, you will be well-positioned to succeed in this challenging role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a technical and/or engineering environment
  • Able to interpret intent and guidance, critically analyse requirements which may be partially defined, and develop a plan incorporating inputs from various stakeholders
  • Strong skills with MS Excel and MS Project
  • Exposure to materials management and work order management tools and processes (specific experience with MS Dynamics 365 or EAGLE are highly desirable, but not essential)
  • Strong task organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • General understanding of configuration management principles

You will also need to be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1 level.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
