Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to join our dynamic team focused on delivering strategic insights.

This role is ideal for a creative problem-solver with a passion for data storytelling and a strong foundation in analytics, visualisation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Design and deliver innovative data solutions to address complex analytical challenges.
  • Process, clean, and analyse datasets using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Python/R, and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data products to support decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling visual narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Contribute to policy and strategy development through data-driven advice and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential skills include demonstrated experience in Power BI, data analytics, and data wrangling. An analytical mindset, an eye for detail, and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Demonstrated expertise in communicating technical concepts and information to non-technical audiences, and engaging with stakeholders is required.

A relevant degree is not essential but preferred. Relevant qualifications in data science, statistics, economics, or a related field are desirable.

Familiarity with secure data handling and government data standards is also beneficial.
