Reporting Analyst Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Reporting Analyst where you will be responsible for analyzing data and creating reports to help drive business decisions.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Reporting Analyst who can collaborate with leaders to identify business opportunities and challenges.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in determining analytical methodologies and tools for investigating challenges and opportunities.
  • You will manage projects from start to finish, including data gathering, synthesis, problem solving, and communication of insights.
  • Your goal will be to deliver data-driven recommendations on alternative business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
  2. Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  4. Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Active Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project accounting and/or earned value management.
  • BS degree in IT or a related field.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Enterprise Reporting Suite, Microsoft Office, Power BI, ITIL, SQL, PowerShell.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to clearly articulate details.
