At Chubb, we're committed to providing exceptional insurance solutions and service. As a Claims Examiner, you'll play a critical role in assessing and managing risk for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of claims related to Accident & Health and/or Combined Insurance policies as allocated, and assist with processing other Retail claims as required.
- Evaluate claims against our service level and quality standards, as well as the General Insurance Code of Practice.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, claimants, and others via phone and written correspondence.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Respond to inquiries and escalations from underwriters, brokers, and customers, working collaboratively with internal teams as needed.
To excel in this role, you'll require a tertiary qualification or 2-3 years' experience in a similar field, along with strong investigation techniques, claims handling expertise, effective communication skills, and a solid understanding of insurance contracts, legal requirements, and damage/loss evaluation.
