Job Title: State Maintenance Manager

As a State Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance tasks, safeguarding the well-being of residents and the integrity of our assets.

The position is part of our Assets and Development Division, which is responsible for managing more than 1,600 rental properties for Aboriginal people living in Victoria. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in property management and maintenance of large residential housing portfolios, preferably in a social/community housing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and supervision of teams to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Selection, deployment, and operation of a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Management of services delivered by external contractors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OH&S requirements relevant to maintenance operations.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a strong ability to lead and motivate teams. The successful candidate will be based in our office with travel required.
