Job Title: Clinical Governance Coordinator

Alfred Health is a leader in healthcare delivery, improvement, research, and education. We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Governance Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and efficient data collection, timely and accurate maintenance of local service registries, and preparation of regular performance reports. The role will also involve data analysis and audits to support local stroke audit initiatives across the stroke pathway.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and efficient data collection using the electronic medical record (Cerner Power Chart)
  • Timely and accurate maintenance of local service registries and AuSCR (Australian Stroke Care Registry) data
  • Preparing regular performance reports for the purposes of local service improvement and clinical governance
  • Data analysis and audits supporting local stroke audit initiatives across the stroke pathway and in response to specific data queries

Requirements:
  • Previous experience of managing datasets/spreadsheets
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Excel
  • Presentation and reporting skills
  • Strong and proven time management skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Appreciation of information governance and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-directed and proactive
  • Understanding of clinical audit
