Clinical Governance Leader

This leadership position requires strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence, build relationships, and earn the trust and respect of your team, colleagues, and clinical workforce. You'll be passionate about delivering excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, and accreditation processes.
About the Role- Reporting into the Director of Clinical & Maternity Services, you'll work closely with senior leadership teams to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- You'll oversee patient feedback and experience data to inform ongoing improvements in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular reporting on incidents and associated trends
- Timely coordination of critical incident assessments and incident review processes
- Initiation of improvement actions and evaluation of interventions in areas requiring focused activity
- Liaison with relevant external bodies regarding safety and quality matters
- Leading and managing incident review processes with operational leaders and staff
- Unrestricted and current nursing AHPRA registration
- Leadership experience with an engaging and inclusive style
- Experience working in clinical risk management and/or quality programs of large health services
- Strong organisational and systems thinking skills with attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands
We offer a competitive salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus benefits such as:
