Meta-Optics Researcher Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Research Centre of Excellence for Transformative Meta-Optical Systems.


The centre will develop next-generation miniaturised optical systems with functionalities beyond what is conceivable today. By harnessing the disruptive concept of meta-optics, the centre will overcome complex challenges in light generation, manipulation and detection at the nanoscale.


About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated researcher to advance high-quality science in the field of meta-optics, delivering innovative solutions to real-world challenges.


The role involves producing impactful research publications, presenting at seminars and conferences, and actively pursuing competitive grant funding opportunities.


The successful candidate will provide exceptional supervision for Higher Degree Research and Honours students, contributing to research training programs within the centre.


Requirements
  • PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications.
  • Proven ability to conduct high-quality research, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and citations.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in experimental design and data processing while contributing to securing external research funding.
