We are seeking a highly skilled expert in quantum sensing to join our team in Sydney.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantum control protocols on real quantum sensor hardware.
- Collaborate with experimental physicists, quantum control engineers, and sensor hardware specialists.
- Liaise with colleagues and external partners to support new business development.
Main Objectives:
- Drive the development of next-generation atom interferometer-based quantum sensors.
- Plan and lead technical goals within program frameworks.
- Cultivate expertise in control-augmented quantum sensing.
Requirements:
- A PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in physics, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experimental experience in atom interferometry, cold atomic systems, and/or warm atomic vapours.
- Track record of technical leadership and innovation.
- Expertise in sensor operation, automation, and data fusion.
