Job Title: Quantum Sensing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled expert in quantum sensing to join our team in Sydney.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quantum control protocols on real quantum sensor hardware.
  • Collaborate with experimental physicists, quantum control engineers, and sensor hardware specialists.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external partners to support new business development.

Main Objectives:

  • Drive the development of next-generation atom interferometer-based quantum sensors.
  • Plan and lead technical goals within program frameworks.
  • Cultivate expertise in control-augmented quantum sensing.

Requirements:

  • A PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in physics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experimental experience in atom interferometry, cold atomic systems, and/or warm atomic vapours.
  • Track record of technical leadership and innovation.
  • Expertise in sensor operation, automation, and data fusion.
