Looking for a leader to spearhead our SOX and Internal Controls Program? We have an exciting opportunity as the Sox and Internal Controls Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving compliance in a leadership position at a Fortune 500 Healthcare company.
About the Job:You will be executing the annual Assurance Program through regular communication with senior leadership teams, board members, and external auditors.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure control documentation is maintained and that findings related to Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting are assessed and reported.
- Owning SOX process documentation including Controls Matrix/process maps.
- Lead change management initiatives from an internal control compliance perspective, ensuring sound financial controls are built into process changes and key business initiatives.
- Work with the Business Controls Team to complete the SOX risk assessment and materiality assessment as well as the fraud risk assessment.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in internal audit, compliance, and SOX Governance with at least 8-10 years of experience. A CA/CPA qualification is required, along with demonstrable leadership and influencing skills.
Prior FMCG or stock inventory-based sector knowledge within a complex multinational or sizeable locally listed entity would be highly beneficial.
